Earth Ambassador

Montana was born in nearby Aokigahara in 2000 and is the official representative for the animals of forest and field around the Eden Farm. His intelligence and big heart make him an important member of the team.
Jacob Reiner
Director

Jake studied Natural Resources at Cornell University (ALS '93) and founded the Earth Embassy and Eden Farm School in 2000 as a away to promote sustainable lifestyles and help individuals develop their own eco-businesses. In addition to running the Embassy and Farm, he designs and builds eco-homes with partner company Eden Homes.
Mana Takashita
Education Coordinator

Mana has been hosting kid's programs at the Eden Farm since 2005. She is a licensed kindergarten teacher and a registered GEMS instructor. With a deep enthusiasm for teaching and desire to open children's minds to the wonders of nature and science, Mana is helping the farm school develop programs that encourage children to think for themselves and become environmental leaders in the future.
Emiko Fatima and Mariko Shah

Emiko joined the team in 2007 as a volunteer and in 2008 will be the manager of the Solar Cafe kitchen and guesthouse. An experienced teacher as well as chef, she is aiming to expand the organic menu at the cafe and better integrate the farm programs with the cafe kitchen.

Mariko is a professional educator and translator (English/Japanese/Urdu) . She joins the team to help with development of original education programs and administrative support. Mari also loves working with kids and is active in bringing local groups to participate in Eden Farm activities.
